There will be a late fee of R250 charged if collected outside of these times. We will be closed on the 25th of December and the 1st of January.

Payment is to be made prior to pets arrival.

No pet will be allowed to leave the premises should payment not be settled in full. If doing an EFT please use reference given on Invoice.

To secure your DECEMBER BOOKINGS please note 50% deposit is required. The balance is payable on arrival of pet.

At Quarry Kennels & Cattery, we will love and look after your pets. We will ensure they are fed, exercised, groomed and make sure they are loved and well looked after.

However, we are not responsible for problems out of our control. When your pet boards with us we will ensure their health, safety and happiness is seen to.

Should they become unwell we will immediately take them to the vet. The owner will remain liable for any treatment costs.

No pet will be admitted without up to date vaccination certificates. Kennel cough vaccination is not a requirement but a recommendation. Kennel Cough is a highly contagious respiratory disease.

Dogs commonly contract kennel cough at places where large amounts of canines congregate.

Dogs can spread it to one another through airborne droplets or direct contact (e.g. touching noses). It’s highly treatable in dogs using antibiotics.

It has a 10 day incubation period, therefore can only be picked up 10 days after it has been contracted.

A healthy adult dog will run the virus to its course, and the cough will disappear within two weeks, without the intervention of a veterinarian. If the cough persists, a visit to the vet will supply you with a cough suppressant, or in some cases, an antibiotic course.

There may be times when a veterinarian will find some other problems connected to the cough that will require different treatment.

Many dogs build resistance to Kennel Cough through exposure.

To be safe, have the vaccine done 10 days before boarding. Be aware of how easily Kennel Cough is spread and don’t jump to the conclusion that your chosen facility is to blame. They can be your best ally in fighting the virus. Please contact your vet for further information.

Food is to be supplied by the owner. If food is not supplied we will charge extra accordingly.

Prices are per night and no refunds are made should you cancel or collect your pet before the agreed departure date.

Please make sure pets are de-wormed after their stay at the kennels. Day borders are to be de-wormed every 3 months.

Any pet not collected within 7 days will be handed over to a rescue organization or re-homed unless contacted and notified.

We do supply bedding, toys bowls etc. Should you decided to bring your own please note we are not responsible for lost or damaged property.

For the safety of your pets, dogs must arrive on a leash and cats in a carrier. Please note at Quarry Kennels & Cattery we encourage socializing in a controlled and supervised environment.

Should you agree for your pets to be socialized. Please note that we will take no responsibility for any accidents that may occur.

Quarry Kennels & Cattery will not be held liable for any pets that are not sterilized.

Long term Boarders: Payment to be made on a monthly basis on the 1st of every month.

Grooming: Your pet/s will be washed before departing. Any specific grooming instructions (nails, cut, shave, etc.) will be added on as an extra cost. Please enquire about or grooming pricing should you be interested in further grooming for your pet.

Microchip: Please note from 1 December 2018 we have made it compulsory to microchip your pets. Quarry Kennels & Cattery will microchip your pet using Identipet. You will receive necessary documentation and we ask that you please download the app on your phone. (Identipet). The once-off fee is R200.00. Please ask one of our ladies to send the benefits of microchipping your pet.
